A Phase I Site Investigation is an investigation for potential environmental problems, performed to ASTM Standards. We investigate Local, State, and Federal Records for the site and all surrounding sites. We check historical use of the property and all surrounding properties. We visit the site and inspect, looking for potential environmental problems, such as underground tanks, improperly stored chemicals, lead, asbestos, PCBs, as well as a multitude of other potential hazards.
A Phase II Site Investigation is an investigation of the environmental problems actually existing on a site. If potential environmental problems are found, D&A Environmental has many years of experience investigating whether there is actually a problem. Many methods can be used to accomplish this, such as tank testing, soil sampling and sampling of suspect substances. D&A's scientists and technicians have the knowledge to allow them to perform these functions in the most cost effective manner.
